Hi there! My name is Bruce Little. I am the proud owner and President of Under Constructon, Inc. I'd like to tell you about myself and how I got into the building business.
I was born in Port Angeles Washington in 1962. I've been involved with building since I was 16 years old. I have always enjoyed building things. When Port Angelese High School offered a home building class, I couldn't wait to sign up. I was enrolled in the class for two consecutive years. During that time we built two homes in the local community. We were involved in every aspect of the project, from the initial excavation to placing that last piece of trim. This was the best two years of school.
After graduation I headed to Phoenix Arizona where the housing boom was in full swing. I worked with a custom home builder in Scottsdale, building upper end custom homes. We built homes in Scottsdale Ranch, Camelback Mountain, Pinnacle Peak, and on the field of dreams near Fountain Hills. We built custom homes with open beam roofs. Many were southwestern in style. After a short time I worked my way up to foreman running a crew of 7. This was a very memorable experience in my life. After 9 years, it was time to head back home to the Olympic Peninsula.
I returned to the Olympic Peninsula in 1990 and settled in Sequim. As you probably know, the Olympic Peninsula is one of the most beautiful places to live. After living and working in Arizona for 9 years, I knew I was in Paradise!
Upon returning to Sequim, I worked for a custom builder. We built some of the nicest homes and commercial buildings in the area.
Then in 1996 I started my own company, Under Construction, Inc. We build spec homes, upper end custom homes, and some commercial buildings. We also do additions and remodeling projects. I have a crew that specialize in residential foundations, framing, and siding. For those areas of the project that require outside resources, I have a working relationship with local professionals in the Sequim area that will provide quality workmanship.
Under Construction, Inc. is a full service contractor who will be there from start to finish. I will provide a list of references upon request.
